detail and accuracy by just using a pencil!
Gifted with remarkable perception and a
fantastic imagination, Douglas soon focused
his art on cars in a big way. Whether it was
street cars, race cars, exotics or even dream
cars in sometimes rather ethereal, futuristic
settings, Douglas could effortlessly draw
them all in pencil, ink or colours.

By the time he reached his early twenties he
had honed his talent, but looked to broaden
his palette by turning an eye to the beautiful
world of airbrush.
